On April 26, at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 in Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi the semifinal stage of the educational project of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia on the topic of the First Republic – “What? Where? When?” will be held simultaneously.

About 370 schools are taking part in the semifinal from all over Georgia. Each team from each school consists of 5 main and 1 reserve players.

The event is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the First Republic of Georgia. The semifinal and final stages will be leaded by a Georgian club “What? Where? When?”.

The educational project was founded in 2015 and it aims to encourage the students to take interest in the history of the First Republic. The contestants of the project have been given electronic versions of the historic publications of 1918-1921, based on which the questions of the semifinal and final stages have been prepared.

60 schools, having the best results in the semifinal, will compete in the final. The final game will take place on 21 May in Tbilisi. The winners of the project will be awarded with prizes and certificates.
